Trouble Trilling?

I am fine with trill fingerings, but for some reason, no matter how clearly I attack the note on the piccolo and try to trill up, it does not go up a whole step. What am I doing wrong?

Problems from Bb to C and F to G (higher).

If you use the same fingers as if you were trilling but are playing the notes as long tones, can you get them to come out correctly?

Yeah, actually. I can play them fine with the trill fingerings, but for some reason when going rapidly, they won't work. And it was just fixed at the shop, so I don't think it has to do with the instrument itself?

Hmm. Well, I don't know exactly what's wrong... My only suggestion is to practice those trills very slowly and to then speed them up gradually.
