Lyric flute trademark

Post by GoldenHawk »

I recently purchased a flute. It plays beautifully.. is in very good condition.. and to be honest, I love everything about it.

It says "Lyric I 1481"... so, I looked on line.. found Lyric flutes.. looks just like a Lyric flute, but the script is different. The Lyric flute site and the flutes have a fancy "L" ... mine also has an "L".. but it is different.. looks like an "L" with a circle around it.

I'm pleased, either way.. as I said, it really is lovely to play. .. just trying to determine what kind of flute it is. If it is a Lyric, did they update the trademark at some point?

Perhaps a silly question.. if so, I do apologize.

Thank you
'Haw

I guess no one knows.. it sort of looks like the Lexus trademark. I think I'll just stop worrying about it, and go back to just enjoying it. : ) It may be just some kind of knock off flute, but it plays well, and I'm happy with it. Can't ask for too much more than that!

Very nice site.. lots of interesting topics on these boards.
