Is this flute worth buying? Vintage? Early 1900's? Paul Ducar?

Post by Redwing777 »

Hey everyone! New here. I'm currently at a thrift store and there is a flute for sale for $100. It says Paul Ducar on the flute. And Paul Ducan on the box. I can't find ANYTHING online for this flute or the box it came in. Is this a rare and valuable flute? Or just an unpopular one? Thanks everyone!

I've seen a lot of different flute brands, but Paul Ducar (or Ducan?) is not one I've ever heard of. It might be rare, but that doesn't mean that it is valuable. It could be anything from a little known brand to a cheap, inferior piece of junk. I doubt that it is worth $100... :?
