Our band started a tradition last year that all members who wish to participate can play a solo of their choice. If any of you guys have seen Legends of the Fall with Brad Pit in it, I'm playing the themesong The Ludlows - otherwise known as Twilight and Mist. (and no, this song has no connection with those stupid Twilight movies that our teenage society is obsessed with! ) I was going to play a more complicated piece, but my mother adores this song so much that I thought I'd play it this year. It's absolutely amazing and it sounds great. I just wanted to tell you guys about this and I'm so excited because it's one of my favorite songs I've ever played. Maybe I won't mess up on it!
Okay guys, I hope you all will have responded by tomorrow so I can make my decision. Solo night is May 5th and I want to change my song for solo night to Time to Say Goodbye...Andrea Bocelli sang it. My question is this: if I can get my hands on this piece this week, will I have time to have learned it by May 5th?
