Questions about my Emerson Flute
My flute is an Emerson that was purchased from The Woodwind and Brasswind in 1996 or 1997. I was thinking about selling it, but considering it has been quite a few years since I acquired it, I have no idea what the official model number is or what it's value may be. It has a solid sterling headjoint, body, and B foot (the headjoint and body are both stamped "sterling"), but I'm pretty sure the mechanism is silver plated. It's inline G with a gizmo key, the headjoint is stamped on the back with "HC" and the body is stamped with "F97140." Though it is overdue for a clean, oil, and adjust, overall my flute is in good shape. If any of you know what it's value or model number/name may be, your help would be greatly appreciated!

You might start with a local music store who have been known to allow trades for new instruments.
