I have an Artley 8-0 flute made in Nogales Arizona. I bought it in 1971. I believe it is solid silver as a Silver stamp is on each joint.
I desperately need a new flute case. It is a C flute and French open hole. What model case would you recommend to fit this Artley that will last at least 5 years?

Re: Artley 8-0 flute
Do you have (or want) a french style case or would you prefer a case with a handle? Most french cases are made from wood and have no handle. With that style, many players add a Cavallaro or Altieri case cover. With that option, you can expect both to run maybe $200-$300. Most standard cases with a handle are made from plastic these days. You can get a pretty good one for perhaps $50-$75. Protec style cases are another option if you like that style (I don't). Shop around and buy what you like. Most any C foot case should work for an Artley.
If you buy or order from a reputable music store, almost any case should last many years if not abused.
