My bamboo flute has 4 holes on the top and one in the bottom

Many Bamboo flutes have 5 fairly evenly spaced holes for a pentatonic scale. Not necessarily "Egyptian" but pentatonic scale on a bamboo flute.

Traditionally, 6 holes produce a diatonic scale. 5 holes pentatonic
