1. Try this.
http://translate.google.com/
This will translate it to your language.
2. The page you are looking at is the price list, so try this.
http://www.xe.com/
Just put in the number in Yen(Japanese currency) then compare it to your country currency.
Example, as of this date..
1.00 JPY = 0.0129534 USD
So for the low end model of one of their flutes is 100,000 yen
100,000.00 JPY = 1,295.34 USD
I use to live in Japan. There are a lot of products that are only sold to the Japanese market. This may be one of them. They may still export to you, but they may not market these flutes out side of Japan --- yet.
I have never played or seen one of these flutes. However, if it is Japanese or Taiwanese made, it is likely a good quality flute. How well they play will be dependent on you.
Hope this helps.

Re: Akiyama
Altus flutes are good flutes, I have just never cared for the much. I am sure that an Altus expert will chime in and give you their opinion.ong wrote:The reason is I am looking for review about Altus 1807 flute, that is why I found Akiyama .

As far as
part, I have found in life we really do not have to have anything we have to be rich to afford. I have wanted to buy an airplane for years. Do not have to be rich. However there are a lot of aircraft owners who drive around in cheap cars and live in apartments!Well,we have to be rich to own one.
Anyhow, I will have to look that flute brand up when I go back to Japan!

Re: Akiyama
I just email Altus asking them if Mr.William Bennett is using their 1807 limited(I may be wrong),what kind of headjoint his is using.I mean no upgrade to platinum riser or pure platinum needed?
As for the price, a Malaysian like me this Altus 1807 will cost me 50k local currency. That money is good enough for three handmade Italian tenor sax. Flute is really a nightmare to musicians

Re: Akiyama

Re: Akiyama
I think the biggest problem with products that are not available in your country is if you need repair work and some parts have to been replaced...
That is always my biggest concern in such cases. Can you contact them and ask them what sort of support they offer in case something happens?
Japanese products are usually of a high standard.
