I've seen Yamaha "Allegro" flutes listed for sale but can't find any definitive info on what that designation means.
Anybody have information about that?

The Yamaha Allegro line is basically the same as their 200/300/400 series. I believe that the Allegro designation was simply a mechanism for them to offer a unique designation for certain large music store chains.
