Now i have seen a couple of post here while doing my research because i want to buy a flute just a beginner one (trying to learn).
I read about one guy buying his yamaha flute in Japan for basically half of what he should have paid if he bought in America and he seems to know what he is doing since he gave some reviews.
for REFRENCE https://www.fluteland.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=19639
But i cant go to tokyo ofcourse im a broke ass student. And saw this ad on Ebay --> http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-YFL-222- ... SwUEVYDwOh
but its a pricey instrument so i kinda dont wanna buy a counterfeit one. but surely the price seems legit enough and not too cheap that it gives away that its fake.
also asked the seller if its original and has the warranty he said it has a 1 year warranty but not international and its "genuine".
If you have any idea why theres such a big difference in price id like to know too thankyou! (the price is 428 usd but if u buy say in flutes of new york its about 749).

I'm no expert, but considering he's sold 534 of them, plus it's in Korea, I'd be highly suspicious it's a real Yami.
Just looked closer, and none of his images match. One's actually an open-hole.
All my retail experience is screaming "Danger Will Robinson!"
Why not check your craig's list instead? Or local music stores and repair shops? Or honest shops like WWBW or Carol whatshername. There's bunches of online sites that have used flutes available. There's even the equivalent of a paper's for-sale ads. It's too early after waking up for me to remember them or feel like digging up--just Google and you'll find them.
