Hi everyone. I am looking for some advice on what to sell my beloved flute for and of its best to have it cleaned prior to selling or offer it at a discount price and the buyer be responsible (preferred). Not sure if it is possible to post pictures but I couldn't figure out how.
It is an older flute (purchased for me new in approximately 1991 by my parents). It was used solidly for 3 years after and has been in its case on my shelf, played infrequently ever since. I had hoped one of my children would have developed an interest in this beauty. I am selling it to fund one of their many activities.
It is an intermediate, open hole, in line G key, silver model 481.
I'd like to ensure it selling in the next month or so. There are no dings or dents, it does have some scratches but it in over all great condition.
Any direction you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Who made it? Yamaha? Armstrong? ???
Best place to check for real-world values is eBay's finished auctions. See what your flute (or similar models) have actually sold for, not what they're listed at with no bidders.
