Has anyone got any tips for the awkward rhythms, cross rhythms and darn high notes? Any help would be much apreciated as i am in my last year at school and i have made a name for myself for doing flashy pieces, and want to go out with a blast!

Just as with any piece, start it slow and gradually crank up the tempo. It should help you figure out complicated rhythms and get your fingers accustomed to what they need to be doing. As for high notes, try to hit notes higher than the ones you actually have to produce (if possible), as this will make you feel more secure with slightly lower (but still high) pitches. Also work your scales up into the fourth octave (Up to D at least, but if there is something higher in that piece, you might consider going higher).Serpentine wrote:At the moment i am playing Sonato Latino: mvmt III.
