We have UIL Solo and Ensemble contest in a few hours, so I was wondering if you guys knew any tips of tuning a B(b) and E(b) chord. I know there's tuning adjustments you need to make when you play in a chord, but I can't remember what you're supposed to do. I should know, since our semester final tested this...
o.O
Well. This chord is at the end of this little bell tone phrase and if we get it in tune I think it'll bump our score up and if we don't, we'll ruin the entire effect.

well, I would start by having each note individually in tune. Seeing as how that is a perfect 4th, I dont think you should have to do much tuning other than that. I know that you have to tune a major 3rd about 15 cents flat for it to be 'in tune' in a chord. Part of your tuning problem is probably just intonation, and getting your individual tones to blend. I would just reccommend using your ears.
