Eb 2 trouble

Post by sinebar »

Have I mentioned Eb 2? I really have to focus my air to make this note sound clean. Does anyone else have this problem with Eb2?

It's a simple thing to overlook sometimes, but be sure your left-hand first finger is up for this note (and D2, as well). ??

If lifting up that finger doesn't help you may want to check out your pads. One of mine currently has trouble with that but its mostly because the pads are very old and need to be redone.

Well the flute is brand new and I had it checked out by a tech saturday and everything checked out ok. It's just me being new to the flute. But It has improved since I first posted this. I think I found just the right place to put my lip on the lip plate that seems to have improved my tone overall.
