suite in a minor audition piece

OK, so I'm going to be trying out for the local youth orchestra with suite in a minor no.1 overture by Telemann..for the people who have played this piece the 3 little double tounging sections, would it be OK if I slowed those down a little and just that since the piece will be played unaccompanied? For the people who don't know the piece well I'm talking about 16th notes in 6/8 at 98 and its staccato..it comes up 3 times each on a different oage and itd only a measure and a half each.. so can i slow just that down? Like only to 80-85? I have no problem with the test of the piece and can play it fine.. i just fumble on that..
