I was cleaning out my garage and discovered my old band flute from about 8 years ago.
The flute is an Artley Beginners 18-0 Serial #554673. I did the stupid when I first got it and boiled the mouth piece in water (which made it turn a fuzzy grey color) but other than that, it's in fine working condition.
Does anyone know the suggested resell value for this instrument?
I tried looking it up myself, but I had no luck. And on a few sites I did read that Artley's aren't considered much in value to begin with. I would really appreciate any help if given.

Re: flute value?
If you do a search on eBay right now for Artley 18-0, it looks like most of them are listed around $100 or less depending on condition.
On usedflutes.com it looks like the ones that have been listed are usually listed between $100-$200.
Hope that helps!

Re: flute value?
There is a big difference between listed price and selling price on eBay. With Artley 18-0 flutes, it's a buyer's market and they rarely sell for the asking price and many go unsold because the sellers price them too high. To get a true indicator of price, you have to look at the sold items (completed transactions). If you look at those, you will find that they rarely sell for more than $50. Most sell for between $25-$50.Kaylyn wrote:If you do a search on eBay right now for Artley 18-0, it looks like most of them are listed around $100 or less depending on condition.

True true. Thanks for adding that!
