My flute has a B foot, but I''ve
recently heard that B footed flutes often have difficulty playing a nice, clear
E in the upper register. I haven''t found that to be a problem, has anyone
else?

No problems with that here

I just purchased a new B foot flute,
offset G/Split E. E's weren't a problem in any of the flutes I tested. I think
the high notes are easier (but then again, these are MUCH better flutes than the
one I was playing)

I love my b-foot. I've only been playing
for three years but it really improves the quality and color of my sound. I
think it's worth it and my E's sound much better on my b-foot flute than they
do on my c-flute.
