just curious...i dont play alto yet but im teaching myself

love is giving someone the power to destroy you but trusting them not to
Here is what I play...in order of playability!
Guitar(The only reason I put guitar first is I have played Guitar the longest. People who listen to me think I am a better at playing flute)
Flute
Piccolo
Soprano Saxophone
Sopraninio Saxophone
Tenor Saxophone
Alto Saxophone
Bass
Piano
Lately, I have been doing a lot of practice on Saxophone, due to the demand for me to play it. My main focus is on guitar and flute.

Flute, Piccolo, Sax, Clarinet, (and occasionally oboe or bassoon) are very common for woodwind doublers. It's not uncommon to also play piano or guitar. As a former band director, I learned to play all of the band instruments, but I don't recommend for flutists to double on brass instruments. The lip buzzing tends to desensitize the lips a bit and that can be detrimental to the lip flexibility needed for playing the flute. Pretty much anything else, go for it...
"Never give a flute player a screwdriver."
