Haynes from 1956

Post by rondans »

My parents bought me a Haynes S/N 28889 in 1956 shortly before my first teacher, Heinrich DeVries died. It's a closed hole, B foot. I'm ready to pass it on but have no idea what the best route is. It definitely needs a complete refurb. I understand that Haynes provides this service. One note about the instrument... while I was studying with Harold Paris, he strongly suggested that I replace the headjoint, so it has one from Gene Lorello. Unfortunately the original has gone missing. Other than that, it's totally original.
