Hi, everyone
I've been a sax player for about 35 years (off and on) and doubled on the flute... but I've never played the flute properly. Now I've been getting back to basics and learning the flute from scratch (and improving my sight reading at the same time). My original flute, a Buffet Crampon 228 has done really well, but I went and bought an "improver" flute yesterday. The new flute is a Trevor James Cantabile... I never intended to buy this one at all, but it had that certain "something", so it just had to come home with me and I haven't been disappointed in my practice today.
I used to play in a soul band with the sax, but I just want to play the flute at home for pleasure and I'm into (easy) classical and (easy) baroque. Above all, it's all tremendous fun.
Cheers, everyone.
