A Coat of Arms?

Well---sort of. I was given this "in production" flute body with a blank silver shield soldered onto it.
The only instructions given was: "Here's the initials I need on it and use your imagination."
I love the artistic freedom.

That's cool! Very nice work!

It looks like its positioned for the player's right thumb. Is that the intent?

Not being a flute player, I have no idea where this "shield" is physically placed.

Oh wow! It just dawned on me. When I first saw that, I thought it was strange to have 4 initials, but I'm pretty sure that I've figured it out. I think that flute is destined for a very famous flutist and teacher - William Bennett.

His nickname is WIBB!!!

Google his name and WIBB. You'll find plenty of info about him...
