I would like to know what is the safest way and best way to disinfect a head joint of a flute if one is not sure how germy it might be?

How to disinfect
I did find that after searching online, the info that I found was pretty much in agreement. Rubbing Alcohol was the primary substance that would de-germ to a degree and not harm the surface of flute.
