Admittedly, it could be worse, and I was expecting it to need repairs, but
it looks like someone intentionally did some of the damage to the foot
joint keywork and tenon.

The flute now plays nicely to D and the harmonic stack up is sweet.

I just have to figure out how in the world I'm going to unbend and
reglate the foot keywork. Then, of course, I need to take the time to
re-round the foot tenon so it seals better as well.
All in all, for the little I paid, it looks like it will be a nice flute for me.
I know Gemeinhardts don't suit everyone, but they seem to work for me.
The poor mistreated thing is a Gemmi 3SH, so I get to reaquaint myself
with open holes.
