Any flautists here from Australia?¿?

Hi. I''m from Australia and I was wondering
if anyone else out there was? Most of the flautists I chat to on the internet
are from America so it would be cool to talk to a serious flautist from
Australia [8)]

hey tara[:p] i'm from australia,
i live in northwest wa, and i play the flute..i'm in yr 11, im doing 6th grade
(ameb)..is that serious???? [:)] anyway im hoping to make a career out of
music....i don't know if im good enough but there u go.

Hi! Cool, I live in QLD, I'm in
grade 10 and I'm grade 6 AMEB too, and I either wanna become an instrumental
music teacher, specialising in woodwind preferably, or a professional flute
performer. I would prefer to be a professional flute player but I can always
work on that later! The pieces I'm working on at the moment are Concerto in G
Major by Quantz, Sonata V by Mozart, and I forget the rest, hehe, but I'm also
working on Carmen Fantasy, I got it the other day and I can play pieces of it

those pieces sound cool one thing
i would like to ask you is, how do you prepare scales for ameb exams...because
scales are what usually lets me down in the exam...at the moment i am having
trouble with the scales in thirds in the syllabus, especially the minors. when
is your exam? mine is in september and as im sure you know, exams seem like
they're ages away and then before you know it...its the night before lol. well
