How do you play loud without squeaking?

My flute teacher wants me to play with more staccato and as loud as I can, but when I try to do it loud my flute squeaks horribly! Any tips on how to play it loud without it squeaking?

It's difficult to say from a distance, but as a basic guideline I'd say practice lot's of long tone exercises, with more and more ample crescendos and diminuendos.
