dear flute land teachers : when a flute player is
practicing or playing, what do they use to breath, just the mouth,nose or
both,to draw the air in through . thanks.[:)]

Dear Jose, You can use both your mouth and your nose to
breathe, depending on how the music goes. The quickest and most effective breath
is through your mouth. You have to keep your throat open all the time, your
stomach expanded even when you have no more air - at that time, when you JUST
DROP YOUR JAW (without any extra movements) and take a breath through your
mouth, your lungs will fill up with air very quickly and fully. For that reason,
it is that mostly we will breathe through the mouth, it is very effective.
