My new Flute has a Solid 10k lip.. but I'm not sure whether I can polish it with my Silver Cleaning Cloth..
How would I polish it? There are very.. distasteful spit marks and other things on it and I really would like to clean it..
Hm.. How would you Polish the Gold Lip Plate on a Flute?

There is no reason to polish it with a silver cleaning cloth.
I have a 14K flute and normally wipe the lip plate off with alcohol when I'm finished playing.

I bet that silver cleaning cloth turns black when you use it... doesn't it? If that's the case, I would get rid of that cloth entirely. It's gradually eating through the metal of your flute, and if it's plated, the plating can and will come off. The polish in it is abrasive.
Get a microfiber/non-abrasive/doesn't change color when you use it cleaning cloth.
Otherwise, it doesn't matter. Just clean it with some sort of soft cloth. It doesn't require special care. Use the same cloth for the whole flute.
Oh, and if you have one of those fuzzy cleaning rods that looks like a giant caterpillar, chuck that thing in the trash bin too. The fibers clog up the mechanism (regardless of the fact that you 'only use it on the inside). And putting them in the flute and leaving them there almost guarantees mold. Just an FYI.

Yeah I never use them anyway, so may as well chuck them out

Thank you very much for your advice!~

Silver polishing cloths get dark because silver tarnishes over time. Gold doesn't. You don't need to polish a gold flute. Just clean your lip plate with a soft cleaning cloth humidified with water, then use a dry cleaning cloth to finish.
Sometimes people take a gold flute to an overall polishing (at a good technician) to minimize scratches (mostly when they want to sell it). Just to add a bit, this has absolutely no effect on playing.
