I just got one as well!! I LOVE it! Like 100% better! I feel the upper register is much clearer and playing pianissimo is a breeze. So happy with this purchase.

I would check that the student is holding it correctly. The thumb shouldn't be near anything that would possibly cut him, unless there is something wrong with his flute. Make sure it is straight up and down on the B natural key. Also make sure that that there isn't any tension in the students finger...

i am a junior in college at a music school as a flute major...

I cannot whistle AT ALL. Never could, but I am a very good performer.

I don't think Whistling really plays much of a factor. It could, but you don't need to be able to whistle to play the flute.

thanks I have looked into it, but they also charge you the price of the entire intruments untill you send them back. They put a hold on yoru account, but you have to have that much money in your account. I do not have money for 4 flutes in my account unfortunatly.

I just want to say that I use a inline right now and I have problems with the g finger collapsing. My teacher and I have been trying to work on this problem and we thing the problem my be that I need on offset G. It all depends on what is best for you.

my budget is about $3,000. Another ones that I haven't had a chance to try are the Altus and Azumi. I have heard they are great instruments but have not had the chace to experience that myself.

Throat Noises

I have been having trouble with getting rid of thorat noises when I play. I have been working on my breath support and opening up more, but I can't seem to be gettingrid of them.
