Well thank you Fluteguy and Phineas! :D Sorry I haven't been around here much lately. It's just been a really crazy year. I had major ear surgery in Jan. I lost about 90% of the hearing in my left ear and will need more surgery to repair the ear drum in that ear coming up in Jan. I've had to learn h...

Jennifer Cluff and Nina Perlove and both very well respected teachers. Maybe not your style but then again.....Galway isn't my syle. It's all up to personal opinion. To me Galway's tone is too pinched and he plays ever style of music the same with no tone color changes. I'm not a fan of his vibrato ...

I have to disagree with you guys on this one. Some piccolos are definitely easier to play than others. Yes, it will take some development time to really get good at playing piccolo, but in the end how much you pay for an instrument and what your ultimate goals go hand in hand. I have found from my ...

LMAO....again.... All i'm going to say is that bananas are delicious and nutricious....if someone wants to eat a banana before they play to combat nerves it can't hurt them....unless they are diabetic. This isn't the kind of misconception that needs to be beaten into the ground because it's perfectl...

You may find it ridiculous, but I like to be sure that anyone reading these threads in the future has an accurate thread to read. The problem with this statement is that you are assuming that the people reading it are...
