Re: Unfocused low D on piccolo

If you bought it from ebay you should firstly arrange a good tech revision for your piccolo, before you can state whether it's a problem with your playing or with the instrument.

Re: Flute Donation Campaign

I just wanted to follow up on this story. When I first saw Zevang's post, I forwarded it to Altus/Azumi to see if anything could be done to help this young man. They were able to get in touch with him and he sent an email. I am pleased to announce that we replaced his flute so that he may continue....

Re: Used Muramatsu Gx vs. New Muramatsu Ex? Thoughts?!

fluteguy is right ;-) Just to clarify a little bit more, both models have all silver headjoints. The difference, indeed, is only the tube of the body, that's what I think fluteguy meant. I have an EX-III with the Tsubasa lipplate. This is my second flute (the first is a Nagahara), and I really like ...

Here are YouTube links to those movements: Chanson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW0-HnFMQsQ Aria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Re: Flute Donation Campaign

Hello FluteGo! (another rhyme... :-)

I have some possibilities, but nothing concrete yet.
Would you have something hidden up that closet that is playable?

I already have a person in Germany to take the flute directly to the Iraqi guy. She's a music teacher.

Best wishes!

Flute Donation Campaign

Dearest Listers, It came to my knowledge the situation of a flutist in IRAQ. I had all information confirmed by a musician and the managers of the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq (NYOI). It happens that Karar, the flutist, had his flute destroyed (an Azumi 3000) in a fire provoked by a bomb at the ...
