Alton told me he is slowing down a bit but will still do repads. He is willing to have a look. I will also contact the gentleman in Davenport and see if he wants to have a look. Will let you know what we find out.

Hi Joe, Thank you for your kind response. The original tech. went back with leather covered type pads that you would see in a Haynes or Powell of that vintage. We own a Lamberson Flute #572 purchased from "Tip" Lamberson in the 1970's. We have had an extremely difficult time finding a tech. who can make this wonderful old instrument really play in the manner it was intended? It is my wife's second instrument, but she just can't trust it for those real toug...
