After sending you a very detailed list of tools and stuff through pm I'm very disappointed to see that you didn't take half of my advice.
Also, who cares if the spring hook is sharp? You should not be using it on the flute, just to push springs. If you are bumping screwdrivers against the flute body you are not holding the screwdriver correctly or using it in a wrong way.
I personally like dealing with Musicmedic, the website is easy to use once you get used to it and the cork I got from them the last time I ordered looked fine.
About the owners, Curt and Jeff, they're both good, just very very different.
Hi Thunderlily
I'm glad to hear of your problem-free experience.
Mistakes happen, and the disappointment - it was great, perhaps more so because I had high regard for MM and never expected this slip up from them. To say the least its a waste of time and results in a two week delay for supplies. What has happened has happened. Just lucky not you.
I do sense some angst in your note and I would like to douse the fire a little.
I recognise that you had taken the trouble to pen the list - nothing has been discounted (apart from spring hook quality) and it is not taken lightly. Your advice was highly appreciated and valued and I had expressed my thanks. But after that, it is my prerogative to decide how quickly I purchase the items, in what order I purchase them and whom I purchase them from in the end. Hence that was quite a needless outburst.

Not everyone can buy everything at once, bear in mind I also have a lot of legacy tools at home to start with. Peace-lightning.
