Hey Phineas,
It won't do any good for me to enter, I'm just not skilled enough to
play that beautiful open hole flute Crying or Very sad.

By the way, does any one know where I can buy a good valued
flute for under $300? I am aiming for a closed hole silver plated,
possible Yamaha, and high tone (forgot the name).
Any advice would be welcomed. Just send me a message
Thanks a bunch,
~Melissa Razz Razz

Melissa,

If I were you, I'd enter anyway as you don't know where your skill level would be in a few years.

I have at least two friends that have plugs in their open hole flutes so don't feel bad about it.

I agree. I generally start middle school and older student on open hole flutes. For a while, we plug the holes. They all eventually grow into them and end up with a better flute that will last them a longer time.
