Well i decided to try out a recording, this was done with my notebook microphone so excuse the quality.

I know its not perfect and varies a little, but i like the interpretation.

LMK what you think,

Yeah sucks. Any tips on editing with GarageBand to clean it up. I tried positioning the computer far away but that riding help.

Thanks

I bought a Mac last year but haven't used garageband
Have you tried the mac tutorials?
Usually best to record dry - no effects - then try some effects in the post edit mix
Looks like some other info is available online

The heavy reverb settings aren't typical but can be used to great effect Very Happy

Yeah i recorded no effects, but the room where im practicing is pretty dry and acoustically dull, lol. I added the reverb after, but even on the second half of the piece it was just to loud, if i tried limiting the level the piece would sound flat. So i just left it, thanks for the advice, always learning.

I wish i could have recorded this past weekend at a cabin i was in, they had a huge stone tower and i was practicing at the top. It was amazing, no notebook though.
