I am new here. I recently purchased 3 flutes.
First is a solid silver body and head selmer. With hard case. Looks pristine.
And second is an Armstrong #80 regular size and an Armstrong #26 or #24.which is much narrower. i think it's a picolo.
these two flutes are in the same hard case with the Armstrong label on it my research of the serial numbers tells me that they are solid sterling silver bodies and heads they appear to be in pristine condition.
I took them to a local local precious metals purchaser and he offered me $200 for all three. he told me he's purchased many silver flutes and that he has never seen two in the same case. I feel I may have happened upon something rare and unique does anyone have any knowledge of this? P. S.
I bought them at a local thrift store LOL

There is nothing special about a dual flute/piccolo case. There are lots out there. Here's a couple of random images I found online.

Some Selmer flutes were silver. The Armstrong 80B is silver. The Armstrong piccolo is probably plated and not solid or sterling silver. If the flute is silver, it is usually stamped "Silver" someplace on the body.

If they are all silver, $200 for the three of those is scrap value and not indicative of the value of the flutes and piccolo. If they are in good playing condition, they are worth more than $200. If not, then perhaps $200 is OK

Here are some Armstrong Model 80 flutes that recently sold on eBay.
