Hello! Just started playing again after a nineteen-year hiatus. I have some music...mostly contest pieces, but would like some "beginning" recommendations.
Best advise is to get a good teacher. Private lessons will do. It's very easy to do things the wrong way and acquire bad habits when you're not being observed by someone experienced.
I've been checking in with several teachers in the area...best bet is our Conservatory. I'm not considering joining an ensemble (I already sing in two choirs), just want to play for pleasure, and sound halfway decent again!
