My names Alex! I play on a Armstrong student flute that was used when I got it and have been playing it for around 5 years. I consider myself a beginners flutist however I have been told I am much better than I think. I am buying a new flute with the next year. I finally have enough to buy my own flute and have been doing research into what kind of flute I'd like to buy. My flute is currently in the shop for new pad and cork so I haven't been able to play in a while. I only have one flute that was given to me by my family.
I stop playing flute after I graduated from high school and now I am totally back to my first love!!! I am applying to be a music major next semester. But first and foremost I want to learn everything I can about flutes. I want to learn more on how they are made, how to fix them, then music itself and all that goes with formal music and freestyle music. And then I want to teach others all the things I learned and learn more while teaching.
As soon as I get my flute back I am going to be posting my practice time on youtube. I hope to hear from all my peer out there with constructive criticism. Not Destructive. This is my you tube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/nikddo2007
I won’t have any of my practices online until December or Late November but I hope to see you all posting comments!
