Looking for suggestions again -- I have to audition for the wind symphony at school, and again I need 2 pieces that show my skills. I was thinking of a Bach piece (B flat major gigue) for a fairly upbeat, moderate technical piece. I also want a slower piece that is not too difficult but not too easy ..... and not terribly long so my nerves don't get the best of me. And we just have 5 minutes to play both of them. I have a couple of things picked out but, as usual, they are all Baroque. Can anybody point me toward another piece that I can try out? Also, does anybody have an opinion on playing 2 different movements from the same piece (i.e., Telemann sonata, etc) instead of 2 different composers? Would this be frowned upon?

Thanks!!!!

Missy
