Music for G-flute and piano?

Post by SylvreKat » Fri Apr 06, 2018 5:15 am

Does anyone know of a decent book of treble flute solos, preferably accompanied by piano, that would be appropriate for playing in church? Or alto flute that wouldn't sound odd up the octave?

Edit--or an unaccompanied flute book that doesn't sound like you're just practicing scales or something. I picked up a couple from Luyben's yest, one a transcription of Bach's cello concertos which sound horrid on treble, the other a collection of transcriptions from Bach that originally were violin, cello, and the Well-Tempered Clavichord. Again, sounds like I'm just running through lessons. I thought Bach would be good, but that proved wrong thinking.
