How do you mean "rrrrrrrs" ???? i'm self taught teaching myself and never come across this term before, just courious as to what you both mean.

I'm guessing the tu-ka or perhaps the hu hu warm breathing to give that effect <shrug>

^^^^ great little tune, which I managed to contruct from torn up and water damage score even had the old 6D on. The Piano pieces are in better condtion can scan in if anyone wants them.

Guess its just the case of playing and practice long hgh notes and runs I still need to master the a3 - d4 those are still illusive to me the last 6 notes of the higher register are a PITA to play.

Not too sure depends how many hours a day you play with it, probably a month should certainly be long enough I think. Could also be that your fingers and lips need to be trained still getting use to it.

papadiaz take it you are from the UK ? hence the £200 - £250 which is about 400 - 500 USD or what-ever the rate XE.com gives.
For your money what you listed is on target.
Yamaha 211's, Pearl 501 and Trevor James TT 10X.
Where abouts in the UK are you just out of interest ?

Had the Pearl just over a year now but bought it 2nd hand so don't know how old it is not on the box. Never had it serviced and still pays well even thou was dropped and the head joint near the cork has a very slight indentation. Use to clean with with a silver cloth but heard that those can be too ...

Not too sure if my skin is very acidic or not but the silver plating on my Pearl 505RE has come off in places, I do know some silver clothes are abrasive so the softer ones would be better suited.
